Job Details
- Position Description: RN - Pediatric Oncology/Hematology at a children's hospital in Phoenix, AZ. The role involves working in collaboration with the healthcare team, patient, and family to promote patient health through delivery of professional nursing care appropriate to patients' age and condition in accordance with hospital standards, regulatory standards, and evidence-based practices.
- Required Qualifications: Two-year (ADN) degree or four-year (BSN) degree in nursing, or a Diploma Nursing degree; valid State of Arizona RN license or multistate license; current BLS certification from the American Heart Association; current PALS certification from the American Heart Association; current APHON Certification; a minimum of 2 years experience as an RN with recent pediatric chemotherapy and stem cell transplant (BMT) experience. Experience requirement: 2 years.
- Schedule: Days shift, 12-hour shifts, minimum of 36 hours per week.
- Preferred Qualifications: Pediatric oncology experience, childrens hospital experience.
- Additional Information: This assignment may require floating between four campuses in Phoenix and surrounding areas. Flu vaccination will be required from October through April, with exemption applications handled accordingly. Vaccination for COVID-19 is recommended but not mandated.
