Job Summary
Medical Surgical with Telemetry (MS TELE) Nurse Boise, ID
This position involves providing care to patients in a fast-paced acute care setting, including Medical-Surgical units and Telemetry. The role requires flexibility to float across multiple units within the region, ensuring high-quality patient care in a supportive environment.

Job Details

  • Shift Time: Nights, 12-hour shifts, minimum of 48 hours per week
  • Required Qualifications: BLS and ACLS certifications; at least 2 years of experience in the specialty; previous travel experience; experience with cardizem, amio, nitro; preferred ED holds experience; must be able to read and interpret tele monitors independently; licensed and willing to wait for license submission
  • Additional Qualifications: Experience with cardiology drips such as heparin and insulin; ability to troubleshoot respiratory therapy equipment; proficiency in reading tele monitors from specified brands; strong clinical skills in postop, ortho, neuro, satellite tele, medical, and oncology patients
  • Responsibilities: Providing competent nursing care across multiple units including MedSurg, Telemetry, ED, and others, with the ability to float between units as needed. Performing titration of drips, interpreting tele monitor strips, and responding to patient needs according to unit protocols.
  • Schedule: Night shifts, 12 hours per shift, 48 hours minimum per week
  • Submission Requirements: Candidates must be willing to submit a license to practice; orientation includes a meet and greet, with 3 shifts of inpatient training.
  • Float: Float rotation may be required.
