Job Summary
A Cardiac Catheterization Laboratory (CCL) Nurse is needed in Portland, ME. This position involves providing specialized nursing care in a busy Cath Lab and Interventional Radiology setting, supporting a variety of procedures including angiograms, paracentesis, thoracentesis, and nephrostomy tubes. The role requires a proactive approach to patient care and collaboration within a multidisciplinary team.

Job Details

• Position Description: Urgent start; manage inpatient, outpatient, and emergency department cases in a 70-bed facility with 5 bays and 1 procedure room.
• Required Qualifications: RN license, BLS and ACLS certifications, at least 2 years of experience in Cardiac Catheterization Laboratory (CCL) and/or Interventional Radiology; experience with Cardiac Catheterization procedures, angiograms, IR cases such as paracentesis, thoracentesis, nephrostomy tubes; administration and recovery of sedation; arterial access recovery.
• Schedule: Days shift, 8 hours per day, minimum of 40 hours per week, with rotating weekends and one night per week call from 4pm to 6pm. Weekend rotation once per month.
• Additional Information: Orientation dependent on experience. No float rotation required. Scrub color: procedural, provided. Parking: free.
• Submission Requirements: Candidates are expected to support the nursing team with their clinical expertise and adhere to the facility's policies and procedures.
