Job Summary
The organization is seeking an ICU (Intensive Care Unit) Registered Nurse for a position at a healthcare facility located in Norwich, CT. This role involves providing specialized critical care in a dual-level telemetry, Progressive Care Unit (PCU), and ICU setting, including primary stroke center responsibilities. The selected candidate will deliver patient-centered care for a 25-bed unit, ensuring clinical excellence and patient safety during night shifts.

Job Details

• Position: Registered Nurse ICU (Intensive Care Unit)
• Location: Norwich, CT
• Schedule: Nights, three 12-hour shifts per week (7 p.m. 7:30 a.m.), with every other weekend and holidays as needed
• Required Qualifications: Valid CT license, at least 2 years of Progressive Care nursing experience or higher, ACLS (Advanced Cardiovascular Life Support), NIHSS (National Institute of Health Stroke Scale), Epic Electronic Medical Record (EMR) experience, All submissions must be entered into ShiftWise Submission Packets. • Preferred Qualifications: Experience working in a dual-level telemetry/PCU/ICU unit, primary stroke center certification or experience
• Additional Information: This role requires working in a 25-bed unit providing high acuity patient care with a focus on stroke and critical care standards, maintaining quality and safety in a fast-paced environment.
