Job Summary
Intensive Care Unit Neurological (ICU NEURO) Nights at a healthcare facility in California. This Level II trauma critical care position involves caring for neuro/trauma patients in a 12-bed unit with a 2:1 patient-to-nurse ratio. The role requires flexibility to float to other units such as Cardiovascular, Telemetry, ICU/CCU, or Medical-Surgical units as needed.

Job Details

• Position involves caring for neuro/trauma patients with the ability to manage patients with intracranial pressure monitors, continuous renal replacement therapy, and lumbar drains.
• Must have at least 5 years of acute critical care experience.
• Must possess EPIC charting experience.
• Must have Level II trauma critical care experience.
• Certification requirements include current California Registered Nurse license, BLS (Basic Life Support), and ACLS (Advanced Cardiovascular Life Support).
• Schedule: Nights shift, 12 hours per shift, minimum of 36 hours per week.
• Additional information: Must have previous traveler experience.
• Must be a W-2 employee of the agency, as per facility policy.
• The position requires float flexibility to other units such as Cardiovascular Unit, Telemetry Care Unit, ICU/CCU, or Medical-Surgical units.
