Job Summary
An ORT CERT (Certified Operating Room Technician) is needed in a healthcare facility to assist with a variety of surgical cases. The position requires working 12-hour evening shifts from 11:00 am to 11:30 pm, with a minimum of 40 hours per week. The role involves supporting general, gynecological, and urological surgeries, including robotic procedures utilizing DaVinci technology.
Job Details
- Position Description: Certified Operating Room Technician role involving a variety of surgical cases, including robotics with DaVinci for general surgery, gynecology, and urology. Candidate must be proficient in all required areas.
- Certifications/Education/Experience: 2 years of surgical tech or Certified Operating Room Tech experience, NBSTSA certification preferred but not required, BLS certification required, at least 2 years of experience needed.
- Schedule: Days shift, 12-hour evening hours from 11:00 am to 11:30 pm, minimum of 40 hours per week.
- Required Qualifications: 2 years of surgical tech or Certified Operating Room Tech experience, NBSTSA certification (not mandatory), BLS certification.
- Additional Information: No weekend or on-call requirements. On-call assistance is optional, with a weekday night shift from 11:00 pm to 7:00 am available if willing. Orientation and credential verification required prior to start, with credentials due the Thursday before the assignment begins. Candidate must reside within 30 minutes of the healthcare facility, and no first-time travelers are accepted. There's a callback minimum of 2 hours, and proficiency in robotic surgery with DaVinci is essential.
