Description

Job Summary:
Lactation and Delivery Department Nurse The healthcare provider is seeking a dedicated professional to support labor and delivery services. The role involves providing high-quality care during the childbirth process, ensuring patient safety, and supporting postpartum recovery. The position requires night shifts and is based in an island community with a close-knit team.

Job Details:

Schedule: 12-hour night shifts, with a minimum of 36 hours per week
Required Qualifications: Valid nursing license, Basic Life Support (BLS) certification, Neonatal Resuscitation Program (NRP) certification, experience with Epic electronic health record system, postpartum and labor and delivery experience is required
Preferred Qualifications: Experience working in an island hospital setting is a plus
Float: Float: Float rotation may be required
Additional Information: The position involves providing comprehensive labor and delivery care, supporting new mothers and their babies, and collaborating with a multidisciplinary team. Shared housing will be provided at no cost during the assignment. Candidates must be available to start on 10/05/2026 and work through 01/09/2027.
