Job Summary
Post Anesthesia Care Unit (PACU) RN Days, 09/28/2026 to 12/26/2026. This position involves assessing, planning, implementing, and evaluating nursing care for patients recovering from anesthesia. The role requires providing high-quality, patient-centered care in accordance with organizational policies and professional nursing standards, utilizing specialized knowledge and skills to meet the physical and developmental needs of patients.

Job Details

  • Certifications, Education Requirements, Degree Requirements, Location Requirements, and Years of Experience: Current, valid RN license in the state of practice; BLS certification; 0 years of experience minimum; shift schedule: Days, 10 hours per shift, with a minimum of 40 hours per week.
  • Schedule: Days shift, 10 hours per shift, minimum 40 hours per week.
  • Responsibilities include assessing patient physical, psychological, social, spiritual, educational, developmental, and discharge planning needs; formulating care plans including discharge planning; providing direct patient care, supervision of staff, and delegation; documenting care accurately and timely; and participating in quality improvement activities.
  • The RN will interact with all levels of staff, providers, patients, families, and external contacts to coordinate care and support positive patient outcomes.
  • The candidate must maintain licensure and certifications, participate in ongoing education, and adhere to facility and professional standards.
