Job Summary
Telemetry Nurse, Telemetry, en US. This role involves providing specialized nursing care within a telemetry unit, managing patients with cardiac conditions such as MI, CHF, Arrhythmias, and PVD. The position requires independent practice, clinical assessment, patient education, and effective care planning to meet patient needs effectively.

Job Details

• Shift Time: Days, 7AM 7PM, with a schedule of 36 hours per week guaranteed.
• Education/Skills: Bachelor of Science Degree in Nursing preferred; one year of experience in a related nursing specialty preferred; BLS and ACLS certifications from AHA required; RN License in state of employment or with a compact license required.
• Responsibilities: Practice independently within the scope of nursing practice; utilize the nursing process including assessment, diagnosis, planning, intervention, and evaluation; administer medications and treatments following appropriate protocols; monitor for side effects and effectiveness; document patient history, symptoms, medications, and care; provide education to patients, families, and caregivers; and perform clinical assessments for assigned patients.
• Position Requirements: All newly hired experienced RNs must attend New Nurses Orientation within the first 30 days of hire; new hires are precepted by trained staff and must complete organizational competency validation; all annual competencies must be completed.
• Experience: One-year experience in a related nursing specialty preferred.
• Schedule: 7AM 7PM, full-time.
