Job Summary
Operating Room (OR) Nurse in New Mexico The organization is seeking a qualified Registered Nurse to join the surgical team within the OR specialty. The role involves coordinating and implementing patient care specific to the surgical patient population, ensuring safety, quality, and efficiency in a fast-paced environment. The position is full-time, with a schedule of four 10-hour days per week.
Job Details
- Certifications/Licenses: Current New Mexico Registered Nursing (RN) license or current Compact state license, BLS Certification from American Heart Association (AHA), ACLS Certification from AHA
- Education & Experience: Graduate of an accredited nursing program; 0 years of experience required
- Location: New Mexico
- Schedule: Days, 10 hours per shift, minimum of 40 hours per week
- Responsibilities include obtaining and recording initial assessments, developing and implementing individualized care plans, participating in patient and family education, and performing Point of Care testing procedures
- Staff responsibilities include effective communication, appropriate delegation, and participation in orientation and unit growth initiatives
- Flex: Float rotation may be required
- Submission Requirements: Qualified candidates must submit current certifications and licenses; references and proof of clinical competencies are recommended
