Job Summary
The Emergency Room (ER) Nurse is a registered nurse providing critical care and immediate treatment to patients in an emergency healthcare setting. This role involves delivering evidence-based, patient-centered care while maintaining compliance with regulatory requirements and hospital policies. The ER Nurse collaborates with the healthcare team to assess, plan, implement, and evaluate patient care, ensuring rapid and effective treatment for all patients.
Job Details
- Position Description: Creates a healing environment through presence, emotional support, and patient education, focusing on family-centered care. Monitors and manages patient discomfort, provides emotional and informational support, and guides families through different phases of illness or recovery. Partner with patients and families to develop personalized care plans, implement medical interventions safely, and evaluate their effectiveness.
- Licenses and Certifications: CA-RN (Registered Nurse), Current American Heart Association Certification for Basic Life Support for Healthcare Providers, TNCC
- Certifications: BLS, TNCC
- Education Requirements: Bachelor of Science in Nursing (BSN) from an accredited college or university (preferred).
- Schedule: Days shift, 12 hours per shift, minimum of 36 hours per week.
- Required Qualifications: Licenses and Certifications listed above, ability to communicate effectively in English, and 0 years of experience minimum.
- Preferred Qualifications: Experience in emergency nursing or trauma units is advantageous.
- Additional Information: The role involves rapid assessment and response to emergency situations, active participation in emergency protocols, and continuous professional development.
- Submission Requirements: Candidates are expected to demonstrate current licensure and certifications, and they should be prepared to provide verification upon request.
