Job Summary
Labor and Delivery (L&D) Registered Nurse (RN) position available in Dallas, TX. This assignment involves providing specialized maternity care in a high-risk obstetric unit on a night shift schedule, supporting patient care through various obstetric procedures and interventions.

Job Details

• Certifications: High risk obstetrical bedside training, circulating in c/section in the labor and delivery area, recovering high acuity patients.
• Education Requirements: RN license required.
• Location Requirements: Dallas, TX.
• Experience Requirements: 2 years+ in high-risk OB labor and delivery care.
• Schedule: Nights shift, 12 hours per shift, minimum of 36 hours per week.
• Responsibilities include managing vaginal deliveries, c/sections, D&C, postpartum recovery, and high-acuity patient care.
• Unit staffing: High risk obstetrical unit with patient ratios of 2:1, 3:1, and 1:1 depending on acuity.
• Equipment: GE fetal monitors.
• Documentation System: Meditech, CPNS.
• Additional Information: Must have experience with high-risk OB unit protocols, including fetal monitoring certification and advanced OB procedures.
• Dress Code: Neat appearance, no artificial nails or extreme hairstyles, tattoos covered if possible, limited piercings.
• Float: Float rotation may be required.
