Job Summary
Progressive Care Unit (PCU) Registered Nurse position available in a healthcare facility. This role involves assessing, planning, implementing, evaluating, and documenting nursing care for patients in accordance with organizational policies and professional nursing standards. The RN will be responsible for delivering high-quality, patient-centered care within a dynamic clinical environment.

Job Details

  • Position Description: This RN position assesses patient physical, psychological, social, spiritual, educational, developmental, cultural, and discharge planning needs. Responsibilities include reviewing patient history and physicals, diagnostics, lab data, and reports abnormal results to physicians and caregivers. The RN formulates a comprehensive plan of care, including discharge planning, based on assessment data and input from patients, families, and the multidisciplinary team.
  • Required Qualifications: Must possess a current, valid RN license in the state of practice, BLS certification, and one year of experience in an acute care hospital setting within the past 12 months.
  • Schedule: Days shift, 12 hours per shift, minimum of 36 hours per week.
  • Additional Information: The RN provides direct patient care, coordinates, delegates, and supervises activities of licensed and non-licensed personnel, promotes continuity of care, and actively participates in clinical education and quality improvement initiatives. The role involves interaction with all levels of staff, patients, families, and external providers, delivering services aligned with professional standards and regulatory requirements.
  • Submission Requirements: Candidates must demonstrate clinical competencies appropriate for the specialty area and maintain current licensure and certification throughout employment.
