Job Summary
Operating Room (OR) Nurse Location: California. This position involves providing specialized perioperative nursing care within the operating suite of the healthcare facility. The OR nurse will assist in surgical procedures, ensuring patient safety and maintaining sterile techniques throughout the operative process.

Job Details

• Certifications: ACLS, BLS
• Education Requirements: Valid state license in nursing, minimum of 1-year experience in OR nursing, Compact license must be in hand at submission
• Specialty: Operating Room
• Schedule: Day shift, 8 hours per shift, minimum of 40 hours per week, start date: 09/21/2026, end date: 03/22/2027
• Responsibilities include assisting with surgical procedures, maintaining sterile environment, monitoring patient status, and collaborating with surgical team.
• Must be willing to float to nearby facilities, with float rotation required.
• Candidates should have experience with a variety of surgical procedures, strong OR skills, and the ability to respond quickly in emergent situations.
• Candidates are required to respond to a question about previous experience at a Providence facility during submission and must provide two references covering at least one year within the last three years.
