Job Summary:
Medical Surgical with Telemetry RN Nights in the geographic area described, providing patient care for various diagnoses including GI, pneumonia, renal, CHF, DM, and infectious diseases. The role involves delivering high-quality nursing services in a 36-bed unit, emphasizing teamwork, professionalism, and adherence to care bundles.

Job Details:

• Shift: Nights, 12-hour shifts, with a minimum of 36 hours per week.
• Required Qualifications: Valid RN license (Oregon or eligible for a 90-day temporary license), BLS certification, minimum of 2 years of experience, and appropriate education.
• Preferred Qualifications: Experience with de-escalation techniques, chest tubes, heparin drips, NG/feeding tubes, and basic strip interpretation.
• Responsibilities: Deliver comprehensive nursing care to general medical and psych patients, including titration and set rates of specific drips, reading strip data, and collaborating within a multidisciplinary team.
• Float: Float rotation may be required.
• Submission Requirement: Licensing to submit; willing to wait for license activation.
• Additional Information: Must comply with care bundles, accept feedback graciously, and demonstrate excellence, respect, honesty, service, and teamwork. The unit employs high-noise communication tools such as Phillips monitors, and positions are staffed with nurse aides and charge nurses who do not typically take patient assignments.
