Job Summary

Interventional Radiology Registered Nurse (RN) position in a Level II Trauma center. This role involves providing specialized nursing care in a high-acuity acute care hospital setting, supporting interventional radiology procedures, and ensuring patient safety and compliance with clinical protocols. The assignment offers a dynamic environment for experienced RNs committed to delivering quality care within a collaborative team.

Job Details

• Schedule: 10-hour shifts, minimum of 40 hours per week, starting on 10/12/2026 and ending on 01/11/2027.
• Required Qualifications: Minimum 1 year of experience in a clinical setting, active Illinois license, BLS certification, ACLS certification, and NIHSS certification. No experience requirement for travel experience specified.
• Certifications: ACLS, BLS, NIHSS required.
• Preferred Qualifications: Previous experience in interventional radiology or high-acuity hospital settings.
• Float: No float required.
• Additional Information: Clinicians will be responsible for assisting with a variety of interventional procedures including arterial and venous interventions, catheter placements, embolizations, and biopsies. Candidates must be willing to work flexible hours, complete orientation modules prior to start, and adhere to hospital policies including PPE and safety protocols. The assignment may include occasional on-call duties as specified, with scheduled night shifts once per week and every fourth weekend.
