Job Summary
Step Down Unit Nurse, located in the healthcare organizations facility, is responsible for providing specialized patient care in a step-down setting. The role involves delivering high-quality nursing services to patients requiring closely monitored, intermediate care, utilizing Cerner electronic medical records system, and collaborating with healthcare teams to ensure optimal patient outcomes.
Job Details
- Certifications, Education, and Experience Requirements: Active compact or Alabama nursing license, minimum of 2 years experience in the specialty, travel experience preferred, proficiency with Cerner electronic medical records system.
- Schedule: Night shifts, 12-hour shifts, minimum of 36 hours per week.
- Additional Information: This role involves working in a Float Pool on a step-down unit and may require flexibility for additional shifts or float assignments as needed. All candidates must have at least 2 years relevant experience and be credentialed appropriately prior to start date.
