Job Summary
Certified Operating Room Technician (ORT CERT) in Anchorage, Alaska. This travel position involves supporting surgical teams in the operating room, specializing in orthopedic, neuro, robotics, and spine procedures. The role requires on-call availability and hands-on experience with Da Vinci Xi Robotic systems and total joint arthroplasty.
Job Details
- Position: Certified Operating Room Technician (ORT CERT)
- Location: Anchorage, Alaska
- Shift Timing: Days, 10-hour shifts
- Schedule: 6:30 AM 5:00 PM, with an expectation of 40 hours per week
- Start Date: 09/22/2026
- End Date: 12/22/2026
- Required Qualifications: Certification through the National Board of Surgical Technology and Surgical Assisting (NBSTSA), Basic Life Support (BLS), 0 years of experience required, location in Anchorage, Alaska, and availability to start within three weeks of offer
- Additional Information: Support for orthopedic, neuro, robotics, and spine procedures, including total joint arthroplasty, multi-level spine fusions, and robotic cases such as GYN, colorectal, and general surgeries. Candidates must demonstrate a positive outlook and team-oriented attitude. Candidates without these specific skills will not be considered for the role. The position involves assisting in a busy operating room environment with a variety of equipment and patient cases. On-call duties are required, averaging 5-6 weekday shifts and 1 weekend shift during an 8-week cycle.
