Job Summary
Operating Room Nurse (OR) The organization is seeking a qualified Operating Room Nurse to provide perioperative nursing care during intraoperative surgical experiences. This role involves delivering safe, effective, and patient-family centered care in the operating room and other perioperative areas, acting as a patient advocate and supervising assigned personnel.

Job Details

• Position Description: Responsible for the direction, supervision, and planning of perioperative activities. Ensures safety and quality of patient care during surgical procedures.
• Required Qualifications: Certifications in Advanced Cardiovascular Life Support (ACLS), Basic Life Support (BLS), and Pediatric Advanced Life Support (PALS). Education and licensing requirements as per healthcare standards. Minimum of 2 years of experience working in the Operating Room specialty.
• Schedule: Dayshift, 8-hour shifts, minimum of 40 hours per week.
• Additional Information: The perioperative nurse acts as the patient advocate and is responsible for the supervision of personnel. The role includes being on call for the Surgery Unit on a scheduled rotation. Work independently and implement plans of care that ensure patient safety from injury caused by extraneous objects, chemicals, electrical sources, lasers, mechanical, and thermal sources.
• Submission Requirements: Candidates must meet all required qualifications and be available to start on 09/21/2026, with the assignment ending on 12/21/2026.
