Job Summary
Operating Room (OR) Specialty Nurse in Hospital setting. This position involves providing competent clinical nursing care for patients undergoing surgical procedures, with a focus on patient safety and interdisciplinary collaboration during night shifts. The role requires adherence to professional standards and active participation in patient education, assessment, and planning.

Job Details

• Schedule: Night shifts, 12 hours per shift, minimum of 48 hours per week
• Required Qualifications: Nursing Diploma or Associate Degree in Nursing (ASN or ADN) from an accredited school of Nursing; licensed to practice as a Registered Nurse in the state of North Carolina; Basic Life Support (BLS) for Healthcare Provider certification (AHA or ARC); ACLS (AHA or ARC); Neonatal Resuscitation Program (NRP); one (1) year of nursing experience; able to circulate for C-sections; able to triage for OB.
• Preferred Qualifications: Bachelor of Science in Nursing (BSN) or Master of Science in Nursing (MSN) from an accredited school of Nursing
• Additional information: Current and active Intermediate Fetal Monitoring certification completed through AWHONN or GE is required. Previous Labor & Delivery operating room experience is necessary. Must be able to perform bedside point of care testing as required, demonstrate competence in care of patients with complex problems, and prioritize tasks effectively for patients with complex needs.
• Submission Requirements: Active licensure, certifications, and relevant nursing experience.
