Hospice Nurse, Hospice, Remote This hospice nursing position offers an opportunity to provide compassionate, life-changing care to patients in their homes and other personalized settings. The role involves assessing patient needs, managing symptoms, and guiding families and caregivers through the care process, fostering a meaningful connection with patients and their loved ones.
Job Details
- Position Description: You will be responsible for delivering compassionate hospice care in patients' homes, nursing homes, group homes, or assisted living facilities. This role emphasizes symptom management, assessment, and teaching patients and families about care goals.
- Required Qualifications: Valid nursing license, degree in Nursing, current location in or willing to work within the designated service area, and at least 1 year of relevant nursing experience.
- Schedule: Day shift, 8 hours per day, with a minimum of 40 hours per week.
- Additional Information: The Hospice Nurse will handle a caseload of patients, lead interdisciplinary teams, and provide care primarily on weekdays with occasional backup for weekends and on-call duties. Candidates should have strong clinical skills, critical thinking, and the ability to serve as an educator and advocate for patients and families.
