Job Summary
Emergency Room (ER) RN Night Shift Location: Not Specified. This position involves providing comprehensive nursing care to patients in the emergency setting, utilizing critical thinking and specialized skills to assess, plan, implement, and evaluate patient care. The role emphasizes collaboration with multidisciplinary teams to ensure high-quality, evidence-based care in a fast-paced environment.

Job Details

Certifications, Education, and Experience: Must possess a current, valid RN license in the state of practice or a compact RN licensure, BLS certification, and recent experience in an acute care hospital setting within the past 12 months. No minimum years of experience required.
Schedule: Nights, 12-hour shifts, minimum of 36 hours per week.
Responsibilities: Assess patients physical, psychological, and social needs; develop and implement individualized care plans; coordinate and delegate nursing care activities; evaluate patient responses and adjust care plans accordingly; document patient care activities accurately; participate in quality improvement initiatives and team education; provide spiritual support in collaboration with clergy when necessary; participate in research activities and clinical practice development; supervise staff and work flow if applicable.
Additional Information: The nurse will interact with patients, families, and other healthcare providers to deliver safe, effective, and patient-centered care, adhering to regulatory standards and organizational policies.
