Progressive Care Unit (PCU) Registered Nurse position in a healthcare facility. Job Details

• Position: Registered Nurse in a Progressive Care Unit (PCU) at the healthcare facility.
• Certifications Required: BLS Certification. ACLS Certification (CIRH only).
• Education Requirements: None specified.
• Location Requirements: None specified.
• Years of Experience: Minimum of 0 years required.
• Schedule: Night shifts, 12 hours per shift, 48 hours per week.
• Additional Information:
  Performs nursing assessments within 8 hours of admission, develops individualized care plans, and provides patient education.
  Participates in patient rehabilitation programs and monitors patient progress, ensuring timely and accurate documentation.
  Initiates discharge planning and patient teaching from the day of admission.
  Communicates effectively with team members to support continuity of care and patient safety.
  Delegates tasks appropriately, supervises ancillary staff, and maintains environmental safety.
  Assumes charge responsibility after orientation, identifies professional development needs, and engages in ongoing education.
