Job Summary
Progressive Care Unit (PCU) Registered Nurse (RN) position is available in an acute care setting. This role involves providing high-quality patient care, overseeing nursing teams, and participating in patient education and discharge planning to ensure positive health outcomes.

  • Responsibilities include performing nursing assessments within 8 hours of admission, participating in patient rehabilitation, initiating discharge planning and education, and providing direct patient care utilizing the nursing process.
  • Assumes charge responsibility after orientation, delegates appropriately, and ensures safety and quality patient outcomes.
  • Candidates should demonstrate professional development through ongoing education and self-study.
  • Additional responsibilities: maintaining communication across care teams, managing supplies and documentation, supporting unit team activities, and promoting a safe, efficient work environment.
