Job Summary
Operating Room Registered Nurse (RN) in the specified location. This role involves providing collaborative nursing care within the perioperative department, supporting patient health and safety during surgical procedures. The RN will work scheduled days, typically four 10-hour shifts per week, and participate in on-call rotations including weeknights, weekends, and holidays.

Job Details

• Position Description: The RN renders collaborative nursing care via the defined perioperative department method of practice, to a caseload of patients for an assigned shift in accordance with medical staff practitioners' treatment plans, nursing standards of care/practice, and professional code of ethics.
• Required Qualifications: Current California State License as a Registered Nurse; BLS, ACLS, and PALS certifications; minimum of one year current operating room experience; BSN/BA preferred; ability to work days, 10-hour shifts, and minimum of 40 hours per week; on-call availability including weeknights, weekends, and holidays.
• Schedule: Days, 10 hours per shift, minimum of 40 hours per week.
• Additional Information: The position includes tasks involving exposure to blood, body fluids, or tissues. Candidates should demonstrate knowledge of growth and development principles for all patient age groups including neonates, pediatric, adults, and geriatrics, along with strong interpersonal, analytical, and computer skills.
