Job Summary
Operating Room (OR) Nurse in a rural healthcare facility. This role involves circulating and recovering patients in a surgical setting, with a focus on a variety of surgical procedures including endoscopy, appendectomy, cholecystectomy, and other general surgeries. The position requires day shifts and offers a consistent schedule for a multi-month assignment.

Job Details

• Schedule: Dayshift, 8 hours per day, minimum of 40 hours per week
• Required Qualifications: Valid state license (compact license preferred), at least 1 year of relevant OR experience, current ACLS, BLS, and PALS certifications
• Preferred Qualifications: Experience with electronic charting systems (Epic preferred), prior community hospital or rural hospital experience, and ability to perform circulating and recovery duties simultaneously
• Float: Float rotation may be required between nearby sister facilities
• Additional Information: Candidates must be flexible to work 3 of the 5 designated holidays, including Thanksgiving, Christmas Eve, Christmas Day, New Years Eve, and New Years Day. All scheduling requests and time-off considerations should be communicated during the application process. Candidates are required to respond to specific screening questions, including prior experience at Providence facilities, and provide two references covering at least 1 year (6 months for CNAs) within the past 3 years.
