Job Summary
Intensive Care Unit (ICU) Nurse Location: unspecified. This position involves performing independent nursing functions and delegated medical tasks in accordance with the standards set by the state Board of Nursing. The role includes assessing, planning, implementing, and evaluating nursing care, as well as providing health education, counseling, and therapy to support patient well-being.

Job Details

• Schedule: Days shift, 12 hours shift, minimum of 36 hours per week.
• Required Qualifications: Current license as a Registered Nurse in the state of practice; ASN - Graduation from an accredited School of Nursing; BLS - American Heart Association certification; no minimum years of experience required.
• Preferred Qualifications: Bachelor's degree of Nursing and certification as appropriate for the unit or service.
• Responsibilities include evaluating health status through ongoing data collection, executing delegated medical functions, referring patients for further evaluation, reviewing and monitoring therapy and treatment plans, and documenting in accordance with hospital and regulatory guidelines.
• Additional information: May be required to float to other departments within scope of competency and qualifications, and may be placed on-call during scheduled shifts.
