Description
Job Summary:
Medical Surgical Floor Registered Nurse (RN) in a hospital setting. This role involves providing competent clinical nursing care in accordance with professional standards. The nurse will coordinate and deliver patient care utilizing the nursing process, participating in patient assessment, planning, implementation, and evaluation to ensure high-quality outcomes.
Job Details:
- Schedule: Night shift, 12-hour shifts, minimum of 48 hours per week
- Required Qualifications: 2 years of current Medical Intensive Care (IMC) experience, licensed as a Registered Nurse in North Carolina, Basic Life Support (BLS) certification for Healthcare Providers (American Heart Association or American Red Cross).
- Preferred Qualifications: Bachelor of Science in Nursing (BSN) or Master of Science in Nursing (MSN) from an accredited institution.
- Additional Information: Provides direct patient care focusing on complex problems including physical, psychosocial, educational, and safety needs. Performs bedside point of care testing as required. Collaborates with multidisciplinary teams to develop and update care plans, ensuring comprehensive discharge planning and patient education. Maintains compliance with healthcare standards, promotes safety, and participates in performance improvement activities.
