Description
Job Summary
Emergency Room (ER) Nurse in a hospital with 270 beds and a 44-bed unit. This position involves providing urgent and critical care for a diverse patient population in a fast-paced environment. The role requires flexibility to meet staffing needs, with orientation starting on 10/5, 10/12, 10/19, or 10/26.
Job Details
- Certifications, Education Requirements, Degree Requirements, Location Requirements, and Years of Experience: Must have TN or Multistate Registered Nurse (RN) license on file at the time of submission; BLS (Basic Life Support), ACLS (Advanced Cardiovascular Life Support), PALS (Pediatric Advanced Life Support), and NIHSS (National Institute of Health Stroke Scale) certifications are required.
- Schedule: Night shift, 12 hours per shift, a minimum of 36 hours per week.
- Experience: 0 years minimum required.
- Clinical Responsibilities: Providing emergency care to a general population including all age ranges.
- Additional Requirements: Must have experience with Cerner electronic health record system, and must be flexible to meet the scheduling needs of the unit.
- Submission: IVS to interview, manager to offer.
- Uniform: Navy scrubs.
- Schedule Note: No block schedule offered; flexibility required.
- Special Considerations: No time off approved from 9/19-10/17 due to Epic Go Live.
