Job Summary
Labor and Delivery Nurse (L&D) specializing in maternal and neonatal care. This position is located in a hospital setting where the nurse will provide direct patient care for women in labor, delivery, postpartum, and neonatal units. The role involves collaborative teamwork to ensure safe, effective delivery of care, adhering to professional standards and protocols.

Job Details

• Schedule: 12-hour night shifts, minimum of 36 hours per week.
• Required Qualifications: 2 years of experience in Labor and Delivery, certifications including BLS, ACLS, AWHONN Intermediate, NRP, and current Washington State license (or proof of application). Minimum of 0 years experience if applicable, with at least two years of relevant clinical experience.
• Preferred Qualifications: Experience with Electronic Fetal Monitoring, neonatal resuscitation, and obstetric emergency procedures.
• Float: Float rotation may be required, averaging 0-3 times per month, involving assisting hands, sitter/camera watching, or CNA type work within OB.
• Additional Information: Provides care for diverse patient age groups including neonates, adolescents, infants, and adults. The unit handles a variety of procedures such as vaginal and cesarean deliveries, postpartum care, and neonatal resuscitation. Candidates must be willing to work every third weekend and adhere to the teams equitable weekend shift distribution.
