Job Summary
Labor and Delivery Nurse, Obstetrics, and Gynecology, seeks a dedicated healthcare professional to join the team at a beachside acute care hospital. The role involves providing high-risk pregnancy and postpartum care, including assisting with vaginal deliveries, circulating for cesarean sections, and working in an electronic fetal monitoring environment. This position offers an opportunity to work in a dynamic setting with a focus on maternal and neonatal health.

Job Details

• Certifications required: AWHONN Advanced or NCC EFM, ACLS, BLS, NRP; AHA Certification preferred for ACLS/BLS.
• Education Requirements: Valid state license; compact license accepted; at least 1 year of experience required.
• Location Requirements: Must be within a 50-mile radius of the facility.
• Years of Experience: 0.0 minimum, with 2 years preferred.
• Schedule: Nights shift, 12 hours per shift, minimum of 36 hours per week.
• Responsibilities include assisting with vaginal delivery, circulating for cesarean sections, working through PACU, working in an OR suite during C-sections, and providing postpartum care, including newborn and maternal couplet care.
• Additional information: No on-call requirement; will float to postpartum if needed; experienced in high-risk antepartum and labor & delivery units.
• Submission requirements: Candidate must respond to questions regarding previous work at a Providence facility and provide two references covering 1 year within the last 3 years prior to start.
• There are RTO restrictions, and the candidate must be flexible with holiday work commitments.
