Labor and Delivery Nurse in a beachside acute care hospital with a busy obstetric unit. Job Details

• Certifications: ACLS, AWHONN Advanced, BLS, Fetal Heart Monitoring (FHM), Neonatal Resuscitation Program (NRP)
• Education Requirements: Valid state license; compact license accepted.
• Location Requirements: Must include response to whether the candidate has prior experience at a Providence facility; at least 1 year of travel or permanent experience in Obstetrics and Gynecology preferred.
• Years of Experience: 0 years minimum, with at least 1 year preferred in labor and delivery.
• Shift Time: Nights, 12-hour shifts, with a minimum of 36 hours per week.
• Additional Requirements: Ability to work in an OR suite during cesarean sections, experience with high-risk pregnancies, and capability to assist with vaginal deliveries, C-sections, and postpartum care.
• Preferred Qualifications: Experience with intra-partum and antepartum support, ability to work in sterile environments, and familiarity with Epic charting system.
• Schedule includes working every other weekend and at least three of the five major holidays; no on-call required.
• Float: Float rotation may be required.
• Submission Requirements: Must include responses regarding previous work at Providence facilities, two recent references, and RTO (Reason To Operate) details at the time of submission.
