Job Summary
Medical Surgical with Telemetry (MS/Tele) Registered Nurse (RN) Location unspecified. This position involves floating between units within a short-term acute care facility with 379 beds, providing patient care for adult and geriatric populations. The role is scheduled for day shifts, with a minimum of 36 hours per week, and requires a seasoned traveler.

Job Details

  • Certifications: ACLS, BLS, NIHSS
  • Education Requirements, Degree Requirements, Location Requirements, and Years of Experience: 1 year of clinical experience required
  • Schedule: Dayshift, 12-hour shifts, minimum of 36 hours per week
  • Responsibilities include managing blood product administration, central line care and management, feeding tube care, Heparin protocols, high flow nasal cannula (HFNC), interpretation of dysrhythmias, isolation precautions, IV insulin protocols, management of dysrhythmias, nasal cannula use, oxygen administration and tanks, PCA, peripheral line care, phlebotomy, PICC line management, starting and maintaining IVs, telemetry monitoring, use of rapid response teams, and wound care/vac management.
  • Candidate must have at least 1 year of relevant experience and be able to float to other acute care units as needed.
  • Must include response to whether the candidate has worked at a Providence facility previously, including location and dates worked.
  • References: Two references covering 1 year within the last 3 years are required, including from Charge RNs or Lead Travelers.
