Job Summary:
Pre Op Registered Nurse (RN) Surgical Recovery Location: unspecified. This role involves providing pre-operative care and support in a busy inpatient setting. Candidates will assist with various surgical procedures, including general, orthopedic, cardiac, and neurological surgeries, ensuring patient safety and compliance with clinical protocols.

Job Details:

• Position Description: Pre Op RN responsible for inpatient pre-operative assessment and preparation, with a focus on general surgery, orthopedics, cardiac, and neuro procedures.
• Certifications & Qualifications: BLS certification is required. Valid state license in hand at submission. Must have at least 1 year of experience in the specialty; first-timers with 3+ years of experience are acceptable.
• Schedule: Dayshift, 10-hour shifts, 40 hours per week, from approximately 5:30 AM to 6:00 AM, Monday through Friday.
• Additional Job Requirements: The role involves inpatient preoperative procedures, including patient assessment, education, and monitoring. Candidates should have experience with charting systems such as Epic and possess skills like airway assessment, blood product administration, and pain management.
• Additional Information: RTO (Return to Office) requests are to be included at the time of submission; outside employment scheduling requests will not be considered. Candidates must be flexible to work on major holidays and may be required to float between facilities.
