Job Summary:
Emergency Room (ER) registered nurse position located in a state-of-the-art, 24/7 emergency department. This role involves providing adult and geriatric emergency care in a fast-paced, high-acuity setting with a diverse patient population. The position offers a rotating shift schedule with coverage during day and night hours, and requires proficiency in various clinical skills and charting with Epic electronic medical record system.

Job Details:

• Schedule: 12-hour shifts, minimum of 48 hours per week between 09/29/2026 and 12/29/2026, with rotating shift hours from 11:00 AM to 11:00 PM and 7:00 PM to 7:00 AM.
• Required Qualifications: Valid New York Single State RN license, minimum of 2 years of ER experience, ACLS, BLS, NIHSS, PALS certifications, Epic charting system experience, and at least 1 year of clinical experience.
• Preferred Qualifications: Experience with neuro-trauma, stroke, cardiac monitoring, ventilator management, pediatric trauma, and adult emergency procedures.
• Float: Will be required to float within skillset.
• Additional Information: The nurse must be available to work every other holiday if needed, submit scheduling requests upon application, and comply with the call-off policy allowing cancellation of up to three shifts without penalty. Candidates should not reside within 75 miles of the facility. The role involves managing adult and geriatric emergency diagnoses, utilizing specialized equipment such as Bair hugger, rapid infuser, and safe patient handling tools, and adhering to strict safety and isolation procedures.
