ICU Registered Nurse (RN) Wilson, NC. This position involves providing specialized care within the Intensive Care Unit of a healthcare facility. The role includes managing critically ill adult patients, interpreting EKGs, and titrating critical drips, all within a team-oriented environment.

Job Details

• Location: Wilson, NC
• Shift: 7:00AM 7:30PM, 12-hour shift, with a weekly guarantee of 36 hours
• Required Qualifications: Associate degree or higher, current BLS and ACLS certifications, 1.5+ years of ICU experience, knowledge of critical drips (vasopressors, sedation), EKG interpretation, critical thinking skills, and the ability to work in a team setting.
• Preferred Qualifications: BSN degree, experience with critical care and adult patient populations.
• Responsibilities: Provide comprehensive critical care to adult patients, monitor cardiac and vital signs, titrate medication drips, interpret EKGs, and collaborate with the healthcare team to deliver optimal patient outcomes.
• Additional Information: Tele overflow unit with 16 beds, patient ratios of ICU 2:1, IMU 3:1, and Tele 1:5. Equipment includes cardiac monitors, Hill-Rom beds, Abbott glucometers, endoscopy tools, and bedside dialysis capabilities.
