Job Summary
Emergency Room (ER) Nurse - Nights - Wichita, KS. The organization is seeking an experienced ER nurse to provide high-quality care in a fast-paced emergency department. This role involves working night shifts in a 52-bed ER setting, with a focus on delivering patient-centered care using advanced equipment and technology.

Job Details

Position Description: TRAVEL - Registered Nurse (RN) - Emergency Department (ED) - Nights (7 PM 7 AM) at Wesley West Freestanding Emergency Department and Diagnostic Center.
Unit Information: ED West, 52 beds, 134 staff members including nurses, technicians, unit clerks, physicians, and midlevel providers.
Required Qualifications: Candidates must have current hospital emergency department experience of at least 1 year, BLS, ACLS, NIH Stroke Scale certification, PALS, TNCC, and CPI Blue Card.
Schedule: Night shift, 12 hours per shift, minimum 36 hours per week.
Preferred Qualifications: Experience working in large facility areas, Meditech electronic medical record system experience, previous employment in a large ER or similar setting, and familiarity with patient experience improvement.
Additional Information: The unit handles procedures such as IV starts, medication administration, sedations, and pediatrics. Fast-paced environment suited for diverse, quick learners capable of managing a variety of clinical situations.
