Job Summary
Progressive Care Unit (PCU) Registered Nurse (RN) position available in an outpatient setting. This role involves providing high-quality nursing care to patients, supervising healthcare team members, and ensuring safety and compliance with hospital standards.

Job Details

• Position Description: The Registered Nurse (RN) maintains the delivery of quality care by assuring the nursing care plan is followed. The RN supervises Licensed Practical Nurses, Certified Nursing Assistants, and orientees.
• Required Qualifications: BLS Certification required prior to first shift. ACLS certification required prior to first shift (CIRH only). Minimum two (2) years bedside clinical experience required.
• Schedule: Nights shift, 12 hours per shift, minimum of 36 hours per week.
• Additional Information: Performs a nursing assessment on all patients within 8 hours of admission. Initiates discharge planning on all patients from the day of admission. Provides patient education and collaborates with the interdisciplinary team to develop individualized care plans. Ensures accurate documentation and communication of patient status. Assumes charge responsibility following orientation and participates in team building activities to promote a positive environment. Maintains communication with management regarding supplies, equipment, and clinical training needs. Demonstrates professionalism by pursuing ongoing education and self-study.
