ICU (Intensive Care Unit) Nurse in Corpus Christi, TX. Job Details

• Schedule: Nights shift, 12 hours per shift, minimum 36 hours per week, starting 09/28/2026 and ending 12/28/2026
• Required Qualifications: BLS (Basic Life Support), ACLS (Advanced Cardiovascular Life Support); Bachelors Degree in Nursing or equivalent certification; licensed as an RN in Texas; no minimum years of experience required
• Responsibilities include managing critical care patients, operating vents, swans, Impella devices, balloon pumps, and performing procedures such as intubation, central lines, bronchoscopy, EVDs, ICP monitoring, Swan Pacers, Bolts
• Patient ratios typically 1:1 or 1:2
• Unit information: 24-bed ICU, with approximately 50 staff members, including RNs, CNAs, sitters, and staff on call rotations, providing a rigorous and collaborative care environment
• Equipment used includes vents, swans, Impella devices, and balloon pumps
• The unit requires excellent customer service skills and adherence to its policies, including scrub attire in royal blue
• The candidate must be flexible to potentially be placed on call for scheduled shifts, including every other weekend
