Job Summary
Operating Room (OR) Surgical Technician specializing in Orthopedics and Spine is sought for a healthcare provider's facility. This position involves supporting surgical teams during orthopedic and spine procedures, ensuring adherence to aseptic techniques, and managing specialized surgical equipment within a fast-paced environment.
Job Details
- Certifications: BLS (Basic Life Support); WA Surgical Technician License required
- Education: Not specified
- Experience: Minimum of 1 year in General Operating Room, Spine, Orthopedics, Podiatry, or Mako Surgical Robot; experience requirement: 0 years
- Location: Not specified
- Schedule: Days shift, 10 hours per shift, minimum of 40 hours per week
- Float: Float rotation may be required.
- Responsibilities include: Assisting in orthopedic and spine surgeries, handling scopes and fiber optic equipment, maintaining sterile technique, and supporting complex procedures such as lumbar fusions, total joint replacements, and spine fusions.
- Additional details: Must have required certifications and experience in specified procedures, and be willing to work scheduled call shifts including weeknights and weekends. Submission must include responses to specific candidate questions, including prior work at Providence facilities and references.
