Job Summary
Telemetry (TELE) Registered Nurse (RN) with the organization, this position involves providing high-quality patient care across multiple units including Medical, Oncology, Surgical, Progressive Care, and Emergency Department holds. This is a night shift role, offering support within a hospital setting, with responsibilities aligned with float pool duties, ensuring patient safety and compliance with clinical standards.
Job Details
- Position Description: RN for Float Pool. Will be a true float need so must be comfortable with PCU/MS/ED Hold. 12 hour nights, 7p-7a. 36H. MUST have BLS, ACLS & Dysrhythmia testing (not needed for submission). RN will float to the Medical/Oncology/ Surgical M/S units as well as Progressive Care or ER holds. Cerner experience is preferred. VT must be applied for upon acceptance. Orientation is held on a biweekly basis. Schedule requests are approved at the managers discretion.
- Required Qualifications: Active RN license; BLS, ACLS certifications; current Dysrhythmia testing; within location requirements; 0 years minimum experience.
- Schedule: Nights, 12-hour shifts, minimum of 36 hours per week.
- Additional Information: The position involves providing versatile patient care, floating across various specialized units, ensuring compliance with hospital policies, and maintaining clinical excellence. Prior experience on PCU, Medical/Surgical, or Emergency holds is preferred. Certification in Cerner EMR is a plus. Candidate must have reliable transportation.
