Job Summary
Progressive Care Unit (PCU) Nurse - Nights - 3S Location: This healthcare organization is seeking a dedicated Registered Nurse (RN) with experience in cardiac care to join a 24-bed PCU. The role involves providing patient-centered care for post-surgical cardiac patients, utilizing telemetry equipment and ensuring adherence to unit policies and protocols.

Job Details

• Position Description: Responsible for delivering quality nursing care to cardiac post-operative patients in a 24-bed PCU setting with a 1:3 nurse-to-patient ratio, focusing on post-CABG, AVR/MVR, LVAD, and other cardiac procedures.
• Required Qualifications: Valid RN license with BLS and ACLS certifications. No minimum experience required, but familiarity with cardiac drips (Amiodarone, Nitroglycerin, Cardene, Cardizem) and telemetry equipment is essential.
• Schedule: Night shifts, 12 hours per shift, minimum 36 hours per week.
• Additional Information: The role includes caring for patients post-cardiac surgery and vascular procedures, managing bedside procedures, and collaborating with interdisciplinary teams.
