Description
Job Summary:
Emergency Room (ER) nurse in a level III trauma center located in Farmington, New Mexico. This 26-week contract involves providing high-quality emergency care within a busy emergency department that serves diverse patient populations, including geriatric, adult, and specialized cases such as ESRD, COPD, and psychiatric disorders. The role requires working night shifts supporting a team-based nursing environment.
Job Details:
- Schedule: Night shifts from 7:00 PM to 7:00 AM, minimum of 36 hours per week.
- Required Qualifications: RN ADN degree, ACLS, PALS, BLS, TNCC, ENPC certifications from AHA, and a minimum of 2 years of emergency department experience.
- Preferred Qualifications: Experience with trauma, stroke, STEMI, and sepsis management, along with moderate sedation skills.
- Additional Information: The ER operates in a facility with 48 beds and flex space, utilizing equipment such as Zoll Defibrillator, QinFlow Blood Warmer, and Ultrasound Guided IV. The department employs team nursing and pod systems, with social workers and educational staff assigned to support patient care. Electronic health records are maintained via Cerner.
