Job Summary
Progressive Care Unit (PCU) Registered Nurse (RN) Baltimore, MD. This position involves providing high-acuity patient care to adult populations with cardiac and pulmonary conditions, including vent management. The RN must have recent IMC (Intermediate Care) experience and be comfortable managing dysrhythmias and critical care patients.
Job Details
- Position Description: JH Bayview- PCU Progressing Care Unit with a focus on Cardiac/Pulmonary patient populations. Must have vent experience and prior IMC level care experience with high acuity adults.
- Certifications/Education Requirements/Experience: RN license, 2 years nursing experience, BLS, ACLS, IMC experience, vent experience, dysrhythmia management.
- Schedule: Rotating shift schedule, 12-hour shifts, minimum of 36 hours per week.
- Preferred Qualifications: Critical Care Certification, trauma course, recent experience with EPIC (Electronic Medical Record).
- Additional Responsibilities: Working in PCU, IMC, and Med Surg units as needed; holiday and weekend shifts required; float may be required.
- Submission Requirements: Verify prior employment with Johns Hopkins Health System if applicable, with documentation in the work history.
