Job Summary
Labor and Delivery Nurse (L&D RN) for a facility in a hospital setting. This position involves providing specialized care to women during labor, delivery, and postpartum, ensuring the safety and well-being of both mother and baby. The role requires a minimum of two years of experience in labor and delivery and is suited for professionals dedicated to maternal and neonatal health.

Job Details

Certifications: ACLS, AWHONN Intermediate, BLS, NRP
Education Requirements: Valid nursing license with a minimum of 2 years of labor and delivery experience
Location Requirements: Valid state license, compact license in hand at submission
Years of Experience: At least 2 years of labor and delivery experience, with a minimum of 1 year required for travel compliance
Schedule: Day shift; 12-hour shifts; minimum 36 hours per week
Responsibilities include administering blood and blood products, assisting with high-risk delivery, epidural anesthesia, neonatal resuscitation, maternal and fetal monitoring, and management of high-risk obstetrical patients, including antepartum, labor, and postpartum care.
Candidates may be required to float between units within the facility as needed.
Submission should include response to whether the candidate has prior experience at a Providence facility, along with two recent references covering at least 1 year within the last 3 years.
