Job Summary
Labor and Delivery Nurse (L&D RN) for a facility in a hospital setting. This position involves providing specialized care to women during labor, delivery, and postpartum, ensuring the safety and well-being of both mother and baby. The role requires a minimum of two years of experience in labor and delivery and is suited for professionals dedicated to maternal and neonatal health.

Job Details

  • Certifications: ACLS, AWHONN Intermediate, BLS, NRP
  • Education Requirements: Valid nursing license with a minimum of 2 years of labor and delivery experience
  • Location Requirements: Valid state license, compact license in hand at submission
  • Years of Experience: At least 2 years of labor and delivery experience, with a minimum of 1 year required for travel compliance
  • Schedule: Day shift; 12-hour shifts; minimum 36 hours per week
  • Responsibilities include administering blood and blood products, assisting with high-risk delivery, epidural anesthesia, neonatal resuscitation, maternal and fetal monitoring, and management of high-risk obstetrical patients, including antepartum, labor, and postpartum care.
  • Candidates may be required to float between units within the facility as needed.
  • Submission should include response to whether the candidate has prior experience at a Providence facility, along with two recent references covering at least 1 year within the last 3 years.
