Description

Job Summary
Sterile Processing Technician (SPT) in a short-term acute care facility located in the region. This position involves sterile processing and sterilization procedures, with experience required in robotic instrumentation, high-level disinfection, and use of washers and sterilizers. The role offers an opportunity to work in a dynamic healthcare environment that values safety and technical expertise.

Job Details

Certifications: CBSPD, IAHCSMM/HSPAS.
Education: Certification as a Sterile Processing Technician required.
Location Requirements: Must have a valid state license; compact license accepted.
Experience: Minimum of 1 year sterile processing experience in an acute hospital setting; preferred experience with robotic surgical systems such as Da Vinci Surgical System.
Schedule: Night shifts, 10 hours per shift, minimum of 40 hours per week.
Responsibilities include cleaning and sterilizing surgical instruments, managing case carts, proper wrapping and labeling of trays, equipment documentation, and working with a variety of surgical specialties.
Additional Information: Candidates must have sterile processing experience, certification, and experience with robotic instrumentation. References covering one year within the last three years are required.
Candidates should be prepared to work a schedule that includes some holiday shifts and may be required to float between units as needed.
