Job Summary:
The organization is seeking a Neuro Intensive Care Unit (ICU) Registered Nurse (RN) for a position at the healthcare provider's facility. This role involves providing specialized care to adult and geriatric patients with neurological conditions, including post-surgical and trauma cases. The RN will work in a fast-paced ICU environment, supporting patients with complex neuro needs.

Job Details:

• Certifications: California RN License, ACLS, BLS, NIHSS, TNCC (preferred)
• Education Requirements: Valid California RN License; experience in neuro ICU is preferred
• Location Requirements: California license in hand, local candidates within 50 miles accepted at local rate
• Years of Experience: Minimum of 2 years of neuro ICU experience required
• Schedule: Days shift, 12-hour shifts, minimum of 36 hours per week
• Additional responsibilities include managing arterial lines, ventilated patients, neuro-specific protocols (e.g., ICP management, neuro checks), and operating advanced monitoring equipment.
• Candidates must have experience with Epic electronic charting system and trauma/neurological patient care.
• Candidates should be willing to float to emergency department, step down unit, or central monitoring as needed.
• Submission requires current Nursys license verification, valid certifications, and two references within the last year.
• Candidates must complete onboarding labs within 3-5 days of contract signing and submit all compliance documents 10 days prior to start date.
