Job Summary
Progressive Care Unit (PCU) Registered Nurse (RN) position available in a healthcare provider setting. This role involves delivering high-quality patient care through comprehensive assessments, patient education, and coordination with interdisciplinary teams to meet individual healthcare needs.

Job Details

• Position Description: The RN maintains the delivery of quality care by ensuring the nursing care plan is followed. Supervises Licensed Practical Nurses and Certified Nursing Assistants. Embraces safety and patient-centered care in alignment with organizational values.
• Required Qualifications: Active nursing license in the applicable state. BLS Certification required prior to first shift. ACLS Certification required prior to first shift (CIRH only). Minimum of two years bedside clinical experience.
• Schedule: Days shift, 12-hour shift hours, minimum of 36 hours per week.
• Additional Information: Performs nursing assessments within 8 hours of admission, provides patient education, participates in patient rehabilitation, manages discharge planning, and documents patient care meticulously. Delegates and supervises ancillary staff, ensures environmental and personal safety, and contributes to team building. Demonstrates professional development through continuing education and maintains effective communication with the healthcare team.
