Job Summary
Paramedic in a healthcare organization located in York and Shrewsbury County. This position involves responding to emergency medical service calls and providing urgent and emergent care to patients suffering from various medical conditions or injuries. The role requires working night shifts and supporting patient care during major holidays as part of a dynamic emergency medical team.
Job Details
- Required Qualifications: PA state license, NREMT, BLS, ACLS, PALS certifications; minimum 1 year of experience; shifting on nights; schedule includes 12-hour shifts with a minimum of 36 hours per week; candidate must be able to start on 10/19/2026 and end on 01/18/2027.
- Additional Information: The candidate may care for COVID-19 patients. Work includes responding to EMS calls, performing various functions related to urgent and emergent patient care, and adhering to guidelines for emergency medical services. Must have experience with emergency Medical Service procedures, airway management, defibrillation, and intubation. Medical and religious exemptions are allowed for COVID-19 and flu vaccines.
- Schedule: Nights, 12-hour shifts, minimum 36 hours per week.
- Submission Requirements: Candidates will be screened by clinical and then referred to the manager for final approval.
