Job Summary
Operating Room (OR) Nurse Baltimore, MD. This position involves providing specialized nursing care in the operating room environment for both adult and pediatric patients across various service lines, including orthopedics, electrophysiology, urology, plastics, ENT, facial plastics, cataracts, pain management, and breast oncology. The role requires collaboration with a team of lead clinical OR RNs, a charge RN, and a resource team to ensure smooth surgical procedures and patient safety.

Job Details

• Position: Operating Room Nurse
• Schedule: Days shift, 10-hour shifts, with a minimum of 40 hours per week
• Start Date: 09/28/2026
• End Date: 12/26/2026
• Required Qualifications:
  • Valid BLS (Basic Life Support), ACLS (Advanced Cardiovascular Life Support), Epic experience
  • 2 years of OR experience required
  • No on-call, weekends, or holidays; every third week includes a late week rotation
• Preferred Qualifications:
  • Experience working in a busy OR with multiple service lines and pediatrics
• Additional Information:
  • Staffing includes 2 lead clinical OR RNs, 1 OR charge RN, and a flexible resource team of 2-3 RNs and 2-3 specialized technologists
  • No facility or employer names are included; the position is at a medical facility providing advanced surgical services in the healthcare provider system
  • Previous employment with any Johns Hopkins health system facility must be noted in the work history and verified prior to submission
